Hawthorne Properties is a proactive property company who excel in delivering exceptional outcomes for landowners, investors and homeowners alike.
Tony Farrant and Guy Napier established Hawthorne Properties in 2014 to exploit the proposed changes in planning legislation enabling the conversion of redundant office buildings to residential through Permitted Development Rights.
Using their experience and expertise gained over many years in the industry, they were able to locate an opportunity, Berwick house, Orpington, bring in a funding partner, resolve planning and the existing occupational tenancies. A scheme to develop 88 high quality apartments was designed, built and delivered to the market having all been sold successfully off plan for in excess of the original price expectations.
Since completing Berwick House, Hawthorne has focussed on residential schemes in the Cambridgeshire area and are currently on site developing Ramsey Heights, a small collection of executive homes.
Further sites are under consideration, with particular emphasis on land both with and without planning.
Hawthorne are happy to work in partnership with land owners or buying land outright dependent on the owners wishes to remain involved. We are happy to take on the risks and costs of obtaining planning as part of our commitment to projects.
